Shawn Whitfield (Host & Executive Producer)

Shawn Whitfield founded Valvoline Racing Radio in 2001 at Clearchannel Radio Chattanooga. Shawn Whitfield is also the owner of V.R.R. Productions which produces Valvoline Racing Radio and On the Move Radio, radio programs. He is also co-owner with WRCB-TV of the NASCAR television show, Valvoline Racing Rev’d Up. He grew up in Chickamauga Georgia, and is Vice President of Whitfield Oil Company. Shawn is celebrating his 10 year anniversary of radio & 5 year anniversary of television.

Casey hails from the thriving metropolis of Ardmore, OK. (Also hometown of Blanche from The Golden Girls!) Growing up in Oklahoma, NASCAR was never that big of a deal to him. As a kid, he went to dirt track races outside his Hometown of Ardmore, and thought Loni Anderson was hot on Stroker Ace. His love of racing grew when he moved up to Chattanooga in the fall of 2004.

A co-worker took him to Talladega where, in his words, "The second that those 43 cars came screaming down the backstretch at nearly 200 mph, I was hooked." Casey is a die-hard Casey Mears fan, even naming his dog after the driver (Mears). He recently changed to a Clint Bowyer fan. Casey is a Territory Sales Representative for Allied Waste, and resides in Chattanooga with his wife, Krista.

Big Daddy Kyle (Croft) - "The Round Mound of Sound"

Big Daddy Kyle was raised of beginnings in the small town of Trenton, Georgia (where he still lives today). Throughout his life he always wanted to work in radio, and though those same years became a fan of the sport his daddy (Marvin) loved so much. Racing was in BDK's blood... His mother (Brenda) even took him to watch his father race the dirt tracks of North Georgia while still in the womb.... Well, we can go on about all this stuff but let's make a long story decently short.

BDK began his career during his sophomore year in college. He interned at Clear Channel Chattanooga under the supervision of the world famous Casey Orr, and in December of 2005 was hired working part-time. He continued college and received an Associates of General Transfer with a Major in Broadcasting from Chattanooga State.

He then pursued other college courses at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, while he still worked part-time at Clear Channel Chattanooga. He then was hired full time there in November of 2008 as the Assistant Production Director for Clear Channel's four station cluster. Well, BDK came to find himself attached to his two favorite things in June of 2009... NASCAR and radio!
